Pink Shirt Day is an antibullying campaign that celebrates diversity and creates environments where all people can feel safe, valued, and respected.
During mat time, we discussed what being kind meant to the tamariki. They all came up with great ideas. Aarohi said hugs, "sharing" was added by Siosiana, and Vivaan mentioned "taking a turn."
In addition, we painted the doors pink. We are so proud of them for sharing the space and tools. Ka pai, everyone!
